Happy TURKEY day!!

This year we had the pleasure of hosting EVERYONE in town for Thanksgiving!!! We had an amazing meal then finished the evening out at Santa's Wonderland to see the lights. I hope we have many many more holidays like this!! Now...little man did bust his lip pretty bad, but hey, it wouldn't be a normal day if something bad didn't happen right before we wanted to take pictures right??

Our poor lil' man has been sick lately but we still braved the cold weather and went downtown to watch them turn the Christmas lights on. We got to see Santa too!

We went out dancing with some friends after this and Hudson went to grandma and grandpa's for a sleepover. It wasn't long before we were called to come and get him though...poor lil' guy just wasn't feeling good. We ended up in the ER by about 2:00am...that made for one tired momma and daddy!! Double ear infection AGAIN...

My Twilight hunk!!

So when my coworkers got me into the Twilight series, I never expected to be so obsessed! When the movies came out was when I began reading them, so I didn't get to see the movies until I was out on maternity leave with Hudson. I think I watched the first 3 in one day. We got a group together and went and saw part 1 of the fourth movie and I swore that when the final installment came out in 2012 that I would take off work and go and watch all of them in one day. No one else from my office could go, so I decided that it was going to be some much needed me time to go and watch all the movies by myself!! I bought my ticket early and was all excited for that day!! I only worked half the day and went straight to the theater from the office. Nothing could have prepared me for what was waiting for me when I walked in...my dear sweet husband had bought a ticket just a few days prior and was going to watch all of the movies with me...THE ENTIRE 12 HOURS!!! I was so excited, I think I was almost in tears because of his sweet surprise! And needless to say, the movies were amazing!!

I'd take this one over Edward or Jake any day

He says he lost his "man card" for this one, but he earned major hubby points from me. I don't know what I did to deserve such an awesome husband but I'm sure glad God gave him to ME!!

So this one night...in Dallas...

So I got the opportunity to go to Dallas for a conference with work. Jokingly, when I registered, I said that I only wanted to go to Dallas to see Josh Henderson, he plays John Ross Ewing on the remake of the TV series, Dallas. Not ever expecting anything like that to ever happen...well, much to our surprise, IT HAPPENED! On our final night, we went out to dinner at a friend's brother's restaurant, one in which the TV show shoots at. After dinner, our friend showed us around some of the Dallas hot spots, we ended up at a bar, Prime Bar, which turned out to be managed by an old high school friend of ours. SMALL WORLD...so anyway, the night is great, and I just look up and there he was...Josh Henderson! No one believed me, but I knew that profile...so one thing led to another and we got pictures...and I may have obsessed a little and got a lot of pictures. Oh I was on cloud 9, and I think I found a few more watchers of Dallas!!
