Happy Halloween from Mickey Mouse

We had a lil' Mickey Mouse roaming around for Halloween. Jason had to work so I got off work early and we went to some of our neighbor's houses before Jason went in for work. It was a little warm but we made do.

No matter how many times we tell him not to stand on this truck, he doesn't listen and just flashes that precious smile!!!

Then finished the night off at grandma and grandpa's house

This year was so much fun, we stayed out waaaaaaay past our bed time but it was so worth it. Hudson enjoyed all the fun, I can't wait to see what the future years bring!!

My husband's heart of GOLD

It's no secret that I'll take every opportunity to brag on my husband, but there are some times that I'm just completely blown away by the things that he does. We both love to volunteer, but there's some times that stick out more in our minds (and hearts) than others.

Jason and I both hold a special place in our heart for the Special Olympics. Each year, Jason and I attend an awards ceremony to receive an award on behalf of all law enforcement, words can not begin to express how proud I am to be his wife at times like these.

And yet again...we are sick...

My poor lil' baby boy just can't catch a break...we have another cold which will most likely turn into an ear infection, they always do.

Finally started daycare!!!

YAY...we finally got to start daycare, they were so nice too in letting us prorate the month.

Mommy was a little scatter-brained this morning and fell down, I think I was more nervous about him going than anyone...

This was one of his teachers...he really liked her and went to her just fine

On our way home...he was a little tired but in good spirits, let's home it lasts!!!

Pumpkin patch

We took our lil' monkey to the pumpkin patch, I'd say he was the cutest lil' thing at the patch though!

We tried to go to the Buddy Walk on Sunday morning...

But someone was a little under the weather

Mommy and daddy covered his face a little too much...he was having a hard time watching his cartoons

A couple of days later, he was back to himself as we visited the Aggie Habitat PUmpkin Patch, I'd say he was the cutest one there!!

He did pick some pumpkins for himself...

They weren't the prettiest of pumpkins, but small enough for him to pick up

We went to the Farm Patch Pumpkin Patch even later in the week and had so much fun...we were the only ones there!

Stomach bug

Poor baby, either he is trying to tell us he doesn't want to go to daycare, or this is just a run of bad luck...now we are battling a stomach bug. We went to go and see Jason at work and had lunch with him, Hudson didn't care to eat anything, but I just figured he wasn't a fan of what I got him. We tried and tried and he wouldn't eat so we finally gave up. On our drive home, I could hear Hudson is the back coughing, I looked in my mirror and much to my surprise, Hudson was not coughing, he was REALLY sick! Thankfully I was on the phone with my mom, she came and picked Hudson up and brought me a lot of towels. She got him home and washed up while I got to clean out my car. Now I have a pretty good tolerance for most smells from my lil' man, but even I have to admit that this was BAD!!! We thought it would only last about 24 hours, but it took a few days before everything was back to normal for him. This also meant though that another week of holding off sending him to daycare...lil' stinker!

We'll get this kiddo to daycare sooner or later...until then, we'll just settle for a good nights sleep!
